MSI has announced that its MSI Nightblade compact gaming PC will now be available with all the recently released Nvidia Geforce GTX 900 series graphics cards.
In case you missed it earlier, MSI's Nightblade is a compact gaming PC designed to be carried to gaming and LAN events and is usually available both as a full system and as a barebone system with choice between the Intel B85 chipset or Intel Z97 chipset motherboards as well as wide variety of other components, which now include Geforce GTX 980, GTX 970 and GTX 960 graphics cards.
We have recently
had a chance to review the MSI Nightblade gaming PC based on the Z97 chipset and paired up with Intel i5-4670K @ 3.8GHz / OC 4.0GHz CPU as well as MSI's GTX 970 Gaming 4G graphics card.
Despite its mini-ITX form factor, as it is based on MSI's B85 Nightblade or Z97I Gaming Nightblade motherboard, the small MSI Nightblade gaming PC still provides enough space for a full-sized dual-slot standard graphics cards, up to 290mm long, which is the main reason that it now supports the entire Nvidia Geforce GTX 900 series.
Unfortunately, as the MSI Nightblade gaming PC comes in a wide variety of different hardware components, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price, but it is nice to know that we will soon see MSI Nightblade SKUs equipped with the GTX 980.
