EK Water Blocks, a well know liquid cooling manufacturer from Slovenia, has now introduced new Indigo Xtreme Engineered Thermal Interface (ETI) for Intel's latest 5th generation socket LGA-2011 CPUs as well as the well known Supremacy EVO Elite CPU water block + Indigo Xtreme ETI bundle.
EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme is, according to EK Water Blocks, the latest generation of Engineered Thermal Interface (ETI) and fits between the CPU lid and water block and should provided better thermal performance.
Unlike other Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs), the EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme is a self-contained and sealed structure, deploying a Phase Change Metallic Alloy (PCMA) which reflows and fills surface asperities on the CPU lid and heatsink/water block. Thanks to the optimized deployment of molten, oxide-free PCMA, the EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme offers low contact resistance and low bulk resistance and offers high thermal performance.
The bulk thermal conductivity of the EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme is over 20W/mK, it is Gallium-free, features laser-cut precision, is fully compatible with copper and aluminum surfaces and easy to clean thanks to its peel-and-stick application.
Bear in mind that the EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme is platform dependent applicator and only compatible with Intel socket LGA-2011-3 CPUs.
In addition to the new EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme, EK Water Blocks has also introduced the new Supremacy EVO Elite bundle that features a well known EK-Supremacy EVO Full Nickel CPU water block paired up with the new EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme ETI.
Both the EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme and the new EK-Supremacy EVO Elite bundle are already available at EK Webshop with a price set at €22.95 and €109.95, respectively.
