The Fedora Version 21 was already announce and expected and the December 9 date is well respected in these circles. As of today, Fedora will be getting a new version that you can get via update or ISO image download at its official website.
In the GNU/Linux universe, the Fedora is part of the major distribution lineup and this version 21 was expected by many of its users.
Three different versions are going to be launched with this new version 21, including the Fedora Cloud, Fedora Server and the Fedora Workstation. Each explaining its usefulness very well. The used compiler is GCC in version 4.9, upgraded with the updates made since its release at the beginning of the year, while desktop environment is using GNOME 3.14 which replaces the older version 3.10 on Fedora 20 and bringing direct compatibility with the Wayland project.
The ISO images are also available today over at
the official Fedora website, with a note that owners of ARM 64-bit or AArch64 systems may also benefit from these new versions.
