According to latest leak, Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, might pack an octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM and a 20-megapixel rear camera.
Since the leak came from AnTuTu benchmark, it is still not clear if we are talking about the Galaxy S6 smartphone or some other smartphone from the Galaxy range as the device is only listed at SM-G925F, but the Galaxy S6 is the best bet. According to specification details of the benchmarked device, Galaxy S6 could end up with an 8-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 20-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front one. It should run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, of course.
Samsung's Galaxy S5 smartphone did not do as well as the company hoped and Samsung really needs the Galaxy S6 to do much better. Recent rumors also mention that Samsung could again offer two versions of the Galaxy S6 smartphone, depending on the region, the one running on in-house Exynos SoC while other should be again based on Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
In any case, we should hear more rumors as we draw closer to CES 2015 show in Las Vegas and the Mobile World Congress.
