We already knew that Samsung's latest 850 EVO SSD lineup is incoming and today we have a fresh set of details regarding capacity, NAND, controller as well as some vague price details.

Techpowerup.com, the upcoming Samsung 850 EVO SSD will launch in five capacities, 120, 250, 500, 750 and 1000GB. It will be based on a standard 2.5-inch 7mm-thick form-factor and features SATA 6Gbps interface.
According to earlier as well as these new details, the new Samsung 850 EVO will be using Samsung's next-generation 3-bit V-NAND chips and an updated in-house made controller.
According to these new information, the Samsung 850 EVO is scheduled to launch sometime in January, 2015 and, as expected, should offer a lower price-per-GB compared to the currently available Samsung 850 Pro SSD lineup, and will also have a slightly lower performance, more aimed at the mainstream market.
