In order to celebrate 20 years of Playstation, Sony has unveiled its newest limited edition 20th Anniversary Edition Playstation 4. Designed and painted to pay tribute to the original Playstation One, and to be available in very limited numbers worldwide, the Sony 20th Anniversary Edition Playstation 4 will definitely be hard to come by.


As noted, the new 20th Anniversary Edition Playstation 4 will share many design lines with the original Playstation One and even share the same Original Grey color scheme.




The same design is used on the controller with recognizable grey and black color and it will come with matching Playstation Camera, vertical stand and mono headset. All will be shipped in a limited edition box with 20th anniversary badge.




As expected, Sony's 20th Anniversary Edition Playstation 4 will be a "very limited" edition console with a total of 12,300 units available worldwide and with a price of US $499 and €499 in Europe, it will definitely be hard to find.

Pre-orders will start on December 6th, during Sony's Playstation Experience event.
