Ubisoft's The Crew should launch smoothly

According to Lead Game Designer

Ubisoft has received a lot of flak for its recent launch of the latest Assassin's Creed Unity game and it is no wonder that the company has now switched to damage control mode trying to do everything to make sure that the rest of its titles do not suffer the same fate. The Lead Game Designer of the upcoming The Crew racing game went on record to say that The Crew will launch smoothly.

Although Ubisoft's The Crew did not get a lot of praise, especially after Ubisoft came out and say that gamers should not read early reviews of the game since those same game reviewers did not experience the game as it should be.

In an interview with The Metropolist, spotted by Joystiq.com, the Lead Game Designer, Serkan Hasan, noted that the game should launch smoothly, and the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC versions of the game will be working at 1080p at 30FPS at launch. He also added that the game will have full online functionality as it had an extensive beta program that pushed the infrastructure as close as possible to real-world situation.

Ubisoft did not send out copies of The Crew to members of the press saying that those reviews could not describe the racing game that is based on online gameplay with plenty of social elements, so you will either buy it and try it out or wait until there are plenty of players around to see some user score.
