A new graphics card based on Nvidia's new generation of Maxwell GPU was added to ASUS' product lineup and it features a smaller form-factor which will easily in most, if not all mini-ITX cases, the ASUS GTX 970 DirectCU Mini.
ASUS was one of the first partners to unveil a mini-ITX graphic card back with Nvidia's Geforce GTX 600 and 700 series, and although the mini-ITX version from the GTX 900 series had to wait a bit, ASUS has finally unveiled the GTX 970 DirectCU Mini.
The new GTX 970 DirectCU Mini is also a factory overclocked graphics card which has a GPU clocked at 1088 MHz and 1228 MHz in GPU Boost mode and also comes with 4 GB of GDDR5 7010 MHz clocked memory on a 256-bit bus. As a reminder, the reference card is clocked at 1058/1178 MHz for the GPU and 7000 MHz for the memory.
The new ASUS GTX 970 DirectCU Mini will be cooled by a version of DirectCU cooler with a single CoolTech fan, named the DirectCU Mini. However, its price and availability have not been yet revealed.
