After announcing the Strix Pro, as well as a version with virtual 7.1 surround sound, the Strix DSP, ASUS is now back with the new gaming headset which will also be a part of its Strix gaming lineup, the Strix 7.1.
In its Strix range, ASUS offers everything that may be necessary for gamers and gaming headphones are certainly a part of it. The new Strix 7.1 gaming headset will provide a true 7.1 surround sound as well as an impressive noise-cancellation.
The new ASUS Strix 7.1 comes with five drivers, a 40mm at the front, 40mm for the subwoofer, a 30mm central, 20mm side and finally a 20mm rear driver. Featuring ASUS active noise cancellation technology, the ENC, the new Strix 7.1 promises more than 90 percent environmental noise cancellation.
Unfortunately, ASUS did not reveal any details regarding the price or the release date for the new Strix 7.1 gaming headset but it will most likely be ready for Christmas.
