In addition to the low profile TC12LS CPU cooler, Phanteks has also unveiled the new PH-TC14S dual-tower CPU cooler, a clear successor of the PH-TC14PE, but with a slimmer design.
Due to its slimmer design, the PH-TC14S should eliminate any conficts with other components, such as RAM or VRM heatsinks on newer motherboard. The new PH-TC14S is based on six 6mm nickel-plated heatpipes which connect two tower heatsinks to the base.
With 14.2x7.3x17.5cm (5.6x2.9x6.3-inches) dimensions, the PH-TC14S is in line with Intel's Keep-Out-Zone and will not have any issues with high RAM or VRM heatsinks. It also uses Phanteks' P.A.T.S. technology and comes with PF-F140HP II PWM High Static Presure fan with MVB II.
It also uses Solisku Bracket, which makes it compatible with most AMD and Intel sockets as well as provides direct contact with the CPU.
According to Phanteks, the new PH-TC14S should be available in retail as of next month with a suggested retail price of US $49.99.
