Leap Motion is a motion detector which is able to reproduce perfectly our hands movements. If you use it while you're wearing a VR helmet, like the Oculus Rift, you get a virtual reality experience which is even more immersive.
The virtual reality market is taking giant steps in the last few months, and more technologies will come in the near future. This is why the company behind Leap Motion wants to bundle it with the Oculus Rift, in DK1 or DK2 version.
The sensor itself is sold for 99.99$, and you have to add 19.99$ for the support system that connects it to the Rift. Everything is then handled by a software suite that allows the devices to work together.
The results are pretty impressive, and you can see them yourself in the video we posted below. This is certanly a great couple, but you can't avoid to ask a particular question: how do I move inside the virtual reality if the hands are being occupied by Leap Motion? You should add a platform under your feet, but that's going to cost you a lot more.
