The Ultra Durable brand is still the mainline of Gigabyte's motherboards, and for this reason the company wants to offer a high-end product for those who want a balanced set of features. As far as the X99 Express chipset is concerned, this product is the new Gigabyte X99-UD7 motherboard.
The Gigabyte X99-UD7 features the same PCB as the Gigabyte X99 Gaming G1 WiFi, but with a few differences. It is designed for Intel Core i7 Haswell-E CPUs, and it draws power from an ATX 24-pin connector and an EPS 8-pin connector, for the 8-phase CPU VRM. The socket is wired to eight DDR4 DIMM slots, which can fit up to 64GB of quad-channel memory. As far as graphics card are concerned, there are four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots.
Storage wise, it features ten SATA 6Gbps, a SATA-Express 10Gbps, and an M.2 slot. Connectivity is quite complete, as the motherboard features an 802.11ac WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, and Gigabit Ethernet with Qualcomm Killer E2200. The integrated audio features audio-grade capacitors for a high quality experience, and there are a bunch of USB 2.0/3.0 for your headset and peripherals.
