PowerColor unveils the Radeon R9 285 TurboDuo

A few days ago AMD officiall announced their Tonage R9 285 graphics cards. Meanwhile also PowerColor has come up with a R9 285 card, that features 112 TMUs, 32 ROPs and a 256 bit memory interface.

The new R9 TurboDuo 285 uses a custom cooler, which makes use of two fans and a dense array of fins to ensure improved cooling, when compared to the AMD reference design. Apart from that, this particular card has been overclocked to 945MHz on the GPU and 5.50 GHz on the memory.

A closer look at the power distribution reveals, there are two 6-pin connectors. When it comes to connectors, there are two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort.

The Radeon R9 285 is going to be launched on the 2nd of September, with a starting price of 249 US-Dollars.
