Scythe has rolled out a new entry-level CPU cooler which will pack some of the latest technologies as well as the new mounting system, raising the entry-level bar to a new mark, the Scythe Tatsumi CPU cooler.
According to Scythe, the new Tatsumi CPU cooler features latest technologies such as the M.A.P.S fin structure and H.P.M.S. mounting system which will raise the entry-level bar to a new height. In spite of its low weight of 450g and compact dimensions set at 102x146x83mm, the Tatsumi will offer great performance which is above the market average.
Based on a large nickel-plated copper baseplate which is connected to a Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure (M.A.P.S.) heatsink with three U-shaped 6mm copper heatpipes, the Tatsumi CPU cooler promises some impressive performance for an entry-level CPU cooler. The heatsink is cooled by the attached 92mm Glide Stream PWM fan which spins between 300 and 2.500RPM. The fan provides between 6.7 and 55.55 CFM of air while producing 7.2 to 31.07 dBA of noise.
The Scythe Tetsumi CPU cooler also features Hyper Precision Mounting System (H.P.M.S.) first seen on the Mugen 4 CPU cooler which, thanks to the backplate-based mounting system, no longer necessary to remove the whole motherboard in order to mount or dismount the CPU cooler and offers wide socket compatibility list which includes Intel LGA775, LGA 1150, LGA 1155, LGA 1156, LGA 1366 and LGA 2011 as well as AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1 and FM2 sockets.
The new Scythe Tatsumi will be shortly available on retail/e-tail shelves with a suggested MSRP of €21,60.
