Zowie Gear, a name well known in the world of eSports, has announced a new addition to its FK line, the Zowie FK1 gaming mouse.
According to the company, the new Zowie FK1 gaming mouse comes as an answer to the many gamers which suggested that the FK shape was rather interesting but was too small for their hands. The new Zowie FK1 gaming mouse is an ambidextrous mouse designed for claw grip usage and is based on the well known Avago 3310 optical sensor.
While pairing the new Zowie FK1 with the Avago 3310 sensor was not difficult, according to Zowie Gear, it was the other way around to design a mouse that will uphold Zowie standards for competitive gaming gear while still maintaining the advantages of the Avago sensor.
One of the key features of the Zowie FK1 is its low lift-off distance of mere 1.5-1.8mm. It also features 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 DPI adjustment, adjustable USB report rate of 150, 500 or 1000HZ and two thumb button feature on both sides of the mouse so it will serve both left- and right-handed users.
The precise dimensions of the Zowie FK1 are set at 128x67x37mm and it weighs 90g, which makes it slightly longer, taller, wider and even heavier than the previously available Zowie FK'14 gaming mouse.
According to Zowie Gear, the Zowie FK1 is currently shipping to distributors and should be available early next month.
Caseking.de already has it listed in their shop for €59,90.
