AMD rolls out Catalyst 13.11 Beta driver

First one for R9 and R7 series GPUs

AMD has now officially released its first Catalyst 13.11 Beta driver that brings support for recently released Radeon R9 and R7 Series graphics cards.

Although still in Beta phase, at least until the Catalyst 13.11 WHQL-certified driver is released, this one will work, and hopefully work flawlessly, with Radeon R9 280X, R9 270X, R7 260X, R7 250 and R7 240 as well as HD 7000, HD 6000 and HD 5000 series graphics cards. It is possible that it also supports Radeon R9 290X and R9 290 graphics cards unless AMD plans to release the Catalyst 13.11 Beta2 once these two graphics cards are officially released.

In order to make it just a tad bit more than just a driver with official support for the new R9 and R7 Series graphics cards, the new Catalyst 13.11 Beta also brings some improvements for Battlefield 4, Skyrim and Total War: Rome 2 games.

As always driver can be downloaded from AMD's website via link below or from our download section.
