ASRock has unveiled its newest addition to the Intel Z87 Express chipset based motherboards, the ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer. As the name suggest, it packs Killer E2200 Ethernet chip as well as bunch of other neat features that clearly makes it an enthusiast/gamer motherboard.
In addition to the Killer E2201 INP (Intelligent Networking Platform) which promises five times networking performance with much lower latency in online games as well as automatic gaming traffic prioritization, the new ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer will pack "Gaming Armor" set of features that includes Hi-Density Power Connectors, 15? Gold Finger with VGA PCIe slots, additional 4-pin power connector for GPUs, Qualcomm Atheros Killer LAN and Purity Sound, a combination of hardware, software audio solutions and technologies.
Specification wise, it packs 8-phase VRM for the CPU, has four DDR3 DIMM slots with support for up to 32GB of DDR3 3050+(OC) memory, 7.1-channel HD audio, three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots for CrossfireX and SLI fun, four PCI-Express 2.0 x1 slots, six SATA 6Gbps ports, HDMI input and HDMI, DVI, and DSub output ports, bunch of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, Fatal1ty mouse port, and much more.
Unfortunately, ASRock did not reveal any details regarding the actual price or the availability date for the new Fatal1ty Z87 Killer motherboard.
