The A7 SoC inside iPhone 5S will be 31% faster

According to Fox News reporter

According to a report from a Fox News reporter Claton Morris, citing inside sources, Apple's upcoming A7 SoC that will be a heart of the rumored Apple iPhone 5S will be 31 percent faster than the A6 SoC currently used in the iPhone 5.

Unfortunately, it is still not clear if the 31 percent gain is with the CPU Or GPU or even both but recent analyst reported that the new SoC wll definitely end up around with a 20 percent gain in efficiency due to a move to ARMv8 architecture. The same reporter also noted that Apple iPhone 5S will have some sort of motion tracking but these things are still not clear.

In case you missed the earlier reports and rumors, Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 5S as well as the budget friendly iPhone 5C during its event scheduled for September 10th. Of course, we do not have to remind you that these are still rumors and should be taken with a pinch of salt, since Fox News is not exactly a well established and trusty source.
