EK Water Blocks releases two Gigabyte Z87X-OC blocks

For Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC and GA-Z87X-OC Force

EK Water Blocks has released two new water cooling solution for recently launched Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC and GA-Z87X-OC Force motherboards.

EK-FB KIT GA Z87X-OC water block kit is a complete liquid cooling solution that directly cools Intel Z87 PCH and VRM/MOSFET part of the motherboard. It is practically a two-piece set that feature high-flow design which makes it suitable for usage with even weaker pump systems.

The EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force waterblock is pretty much the same except it, in addition to the Intel Z87 PCH, and voltage regulation module/MOSFETs also cools the PLX PEX 8474 PCIe lane splitter. Unlike the one for the GA-Z87X-OC motherboard, this one is a single-piece water cooling system that features a high-flow design as well.

Both water blocks are made from electrolytic copper with POM Acetal top and feat high quality rubber gaskets and nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs. The EK-FB GA Z87X-OC Force will be available in two versions, plain one and nickel plated one.

Unfortunately, EK Water Block did not announce the precise price but noted that all three models should be available on Monday, July 15th.
