Gigabyte unveils B450 motherboards

Four budget-friendly motherboards

During this month AMD should release the budget-oriented B450 chipset. On this occasion, Gigabyte has updated its website adding four upcoming models. The B450 Aorus Pro and WiFi, B450 Aorus M and B450M DS3H are coming to the market.

The Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro is the highest-end model. This motherboard is available with and without Intel Dual Band 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 modules. The B450 Aorus Pro is based on an ATX form factor and it comes with several RGB accents. There are three full-sized PCIe slots but only one of them is wired with 16 lanes. On the storage department there are six SATA ports and only four of them have been angled. Apart from that you get two M.2 slots allowing the installation of differently sized SSDs.

The B450 Aorus M is pretty similar to the Pro version since it shares a lot of aspects like color scheme and heatsink design. This motherboard is a bit smaller and comes with micro-ATX form factor. The expansion slots are reduced to two full-sized PCIe and there is also only one M.2 slot.

The B450M DS3H is the stripped down version of the B450 Aorus M. Since this model should be the less expensive, you will not find any fancy heatsink and RGB lighting. The layout shows four DDR4 memory slots, two expansion slots and one M.2 slot. In addition there are less SATA ports (four instead six).
