Qualche settimana fa EK Water Blocks ha annunciato il rilascio di un blocco full cover progettato specificatamente per la Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition. Quest'oggi i ragazzi slovacchi hanno svelato una nuova linea di water block, compatibile con diversi design reference tra quelli indicati come "Founders Edition".



The new EK-FC GTX FE is compatible with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1060, 1070, 1080, 1080 Ti, Titan X Pascal and Titan Xp graphics cards. In the past full-cover water blocks were only compatible with a specific card making it impossible to upgrade your GPU without having to buy a new water block. With the EK-FC GTX FE EK Water Blocks is taking a different approach by creating a full cover water blocks which is compatible with all of NVIDIA Founders Editions GTX 10-series graphics cards, which includes the GTX 1060, GTX 1070, GTX 1080, GTX 1080, the Titan X Pascal as well as the Titan X and Titan Xp.

EK ships these block with a new terminal as well, presenting the GeForce GTX and the EK logo nicely. Apart from that the logo and the writing can be backlit using LEDs. Apart from that the new EK-FC GeForce GTX FE water blocks are also compatible with all EK-FC1080 GTX backplates, EK-FC1080 GTX Ti backplates and EK-FC Titan X Pascal backplates. EK is going to discontinue all the other full-cover water blocks for Founders Edition graphics cards they’ve had in their portfolio.

Checking what options are available already we find the usual EK selection, which includes: Acetal+Nickel, Nickel+Plexi, Copper+Acetal and Copper+Plexi. Without VAT all blocks cost 90.12€ in the EK webshop.
