Akasa has launched the new DuoDock X Wi-Fi docking station for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HDDs. Aimed to get the content from your HDD to any other device via Wi-Fi connection, the new Akasa DuoDock X WiFi can be used to stream music, movies or get any other data to your favorite mobile device with WiFi.

To be available in black and white colors, the Akasa DuoDock X WiFi features blue LED backlight that can be disabled, has 94.5 x 140 x 72mm dimensions and supports 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA HDDs with up to 3GB capacities in NTFS, FAT and exFAT file formats.

It uses USB 3.0 connection to plug in to your computer and supports all the usual video, photo, audio and other files. It also comes with UPnP AV media server support, native app support, Xbox 360 support, features 802.11bgn WiFi interface with WEP, WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES), WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) security, has 30m maximum distance to router and supports up to 3 users at the same time.
