Although every company is not even trying to get on board the Windows RT train and even running as far as possible from it, Nokia apparently puts a lot of faith in it and according to a report over at Electronista, might do a pretty decent Nokia RT tablet.
According to the report, Nokia's Windows RT tablet will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, have 2GB of RAM, 10.1-inch 1080p screen, some sort of Surface-like dock and run on Windows RT 8.1 OS. It will also pack all the usual features including a keyboard cover, USB 3.0, HDMI, 802.11bng WiFi and probably a pair of cameras.
Many manufacturers have abandoned Microsoft's Windows RT platform and many did not even want to have anything with it in the first place so we are not sure if Nokia is on a good path here. On the other hand, Microsoft has means to push the platform to success even if it does not have many manufacturers behind its back. The Windows RT 8.1 looks quite good and has some interesting changes and new features so it might do quite better than original Windows RT.
