Sapphire working on dual-GPU HD 7990 Atomic

Water-cooled beast

According to pieces of information around the net, it appears that Sapphire is working on a new dual-GPU graphics card, the Sapphire Atomic HD 7990 6GB.

According to early details, the new Atomic graphics card will feature two Tahiti XT2 GPUs, have a custom PCB with 12-phase VRM for the GPU and a total of 6GB of GDDR5 memory. As it was the case with previous Atomic graphics cards from Sapphire, this one will also feature a water-cooling setup with full copper water block and a 240mm radiator.

Unfortunately, Sapphire still did not reveal any precise specs or clocks for the new Atomic graphics card but it did reveal that we'll see some neat features like four LED for temperature indications, dual-BIOS switch and that it will need three 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors which means that we will most likely see some insanely high clocks on this one.
