As rumored earlier and quite expected considering poor sales of the Windows RT tablets, Dell has slashed the price of its XPS 10 Windows RT tablet by no less that US $200, bringing it down to more reasonable US $300.
In case you missed it, Dell's XPS 10 was actually one of the first Windows RT tablets and was launched back in October last year with a US $499.99 price tag. As you would have guessed, it did not sell that well. In case you missed it, Dell's XPS 10 features a 10.1-inch 1366x768 capacitive multi-touch screen and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5GHz clocked chipset paired up with either 32 or 64GB of storage space depending on the SKU. It is a neat little tablet that ships with an optional mobile keyboard dock that gives it a decent keyboard with touchpad and over 18 hours of battery life, according to Dell.

Currently only available in the USA via Dell's own website, we certainly hope that Dell XPS 10 will appear all over the world with a similar price tag as it is the only way that Windows RT will grab some of that market share.
