A leaked slide from VR-Zone shows that Intel's upcoming HD 5200 GT3e might have quite an impressive performance and ends up faster than the discrete entry-level graphics cards like the Nvidia Geforce GT 640 and the AMD Radeon HD 6670.

The Intel HD 5200 GT3e graphics chip, and the entire GPU side of the upcoming 4th generation Haswell chips, has been already detailed by Anandtech.com. The performance level actually is not a big surprise considering that the HD 5200 GT3e will actually have 128MB of eDRAM connected to the chip via 512-bit memory interface.

Aimed to be used in high-performance notebooks, Intel's NUC devices (Next Unit of Computing) and All-in-One PCs, the HD 5200 GT3e will be included with Core i7-4770R, i7-4670R and the Core i5-4570R as well as the Core i7-4950HQ and Core i7-4850HQ parts at different clock speeds.

The most interesting piece of information is that Intel's HD 5200 GT3e will actually outperform both the Nvidia GT 640 and the AMD HD 6670.

In addition to the Intel HD 5200 GT3e details, VR-Zone revealed some details regarding the HD 5100 and the HD 5000 which will be a part of Intel's Haswell U-Series mobile parts aimed at Ultrabooks. It is most likely that Intel will cut the clock speed in order to fit in the Ultrabook TDP level but still have enough performance to be faster than the GT 630 and on par with AMD HD 6670.
