Nvidia releases Geforce 320.00 Beta driver

Performance boost for various games

Nvidia has released its new Geforce 320.00 beta driver that brings new SLI profiles as well as performance improvements of up to 20 percent for Geforce 400, 500 and 600 series graphics cards in various game titles.
When compared to the previously released Geforce 314.22 WHQL driver, the Geforce 320.00 beta brings improvements of up to 20 percent in various games. In its release highlights Nvidia shared the performance gains for Geforce GTX 660 and GTX 660 SLI where performance went up by 20 percent in Dirt: Showdown, up to 18 percent in Tomb Raider, up to 8 percent in StarCraft II, up to 6 percent in Sniper Elite V2, Metro 2033, Far Cry 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution and up to 5 percent F1 2012.

The performance gains in GTX 660 SLI are quite similar and you can check them all out in the release notes for this beta driver. In addition to the performance improvements, the new Geforce 320.00 beta driver also adds SLI profiles for bunch of new game titles including Dead Island: Riptide, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Neverwinter, Alien Fear, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and more.

The new driver is also noted as a "game ready" driver for the upcoming/released Dead Island: Riptide, Neverwinter and Star Trek game titles.
