Gigabyte adds Aorus GTX 1050 OC graphics card

With 3GB VRAM

Gigabyte is updating their Aorus line of graphics cards with models that come with WindForce 2X coolers. The upcoming Aorus GTX 1050 sports a dual-fan cooler with black and orange color scheme. In addition the card comes with overclocked frequencies.

According to latest information, it appears that Gigabyte will release an updated version of the GTX 1050. The new version of the Aorus GTX 1050 is equipped with a WindForce 2X cooler, which can be found on several other Gigabyte graphics cards as well. The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with two fans (Windforce cooler). The entire cooler has been kept in black and it will pack a solid backplate.

While the GTX 1050 Founders Edition works at 1392MHz/1518MHz Core/Boost frequencies, the Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1050 OC 3GB comes with a decent factory overclock running at 1442MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies. The card features one DisplayPort 1.4 connector, one HDMI 2.0 and a DVI port. It looks like NVIDIA is updating the mid-range series since we are entering into an era where 2GB of VRAM is becoming too small for several games.

As of today there is no date available when this card will hit the shelves of your local retailer.
