During the upcoming Computex 2018, Cryorig will show a full range of coolers including a new version of the C7 and a M.2 NVMe SSD heatsink. We have seen several motherboard manufacturers equip M.2 SSDs with heatsinks. Cryorig will offer soon the "industry's first dual heatpipe M.2 cooler," the Frostbit.

The Frostbit heatsink features an "Ultra Thin" heatpipe installed in the base of the cooler. The heatpipe pulls the heat into the heatsink which sports several aluminum fins. If you have a huge high-end GPU installed on your motherboard, you will not run in any compatibility issue. Cryorig allowing you to adjust the cooler and offset it from the GPU.

The heatsink is rather compact since it measures 72 x 27 x 57mm. Due to the 72mm length, the cooler is designed to cover just the components placed on the SSD and not the entire PCB. In this way the Frostbit will not interfer with mounting screw or with the M.2 slot. At the moment isn't clear when the cooler will be available but we will know more during next days.
