Microsoft has released the new build 17083 of the Windows 10 Insider Preview system. According to the company, if you are already part of the "Fast Ring", you might be able to download the new version today. The new release includes improvements to the Windows Timeline, font settings and hotkey.
The Timeline is a feature that has been introduced with Windows 10 Insider Preview and it never made it to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. This feature attempts to determine your activities according to time of day that you used them. The Timeline lets you save multiple versions of your desktop that can be resumed on a later stage. You can access to the Timeline via the Task View.
With the build 17083, Microsoft updates font management. At the moment the settings for fonts are handled in the Control Panel, however Microsoft will move this settings in Windows Settings as part of the Personalization tabs. Furthermore the makeover is going to bring color to the font previews. Last but not least, if you want add new fonts you can download them from the Windows Store.
In addition Microsoft updates Ease of Access page. In this page the company has made two changes, the first regards the automatic hiding of scroll bars in UWP apps, and the second is about the hotkeys. Now with the hotkeys you can enable and toggle more filters.
