A few months ago, Thermaltake announced their View 22 case. Now the company is presenting a little update on this model, which means they've added tempered glass side panels to it. The View 22 is a mid-tower chassis that's been made from SECC steel, ABS plastic and tempered glass.
The View 22 Tempered Glass Edition measures 467 x 223 x 491mm with a net weight of almost 7Kg and classifies as a mid-tower. Both side panels and the front faceplate share a simple design and they are made out tempered glass, while the top part is made from solid steel.
On the inside there is space for ATX / micro-ATX / mini-ITX motherboards. Cooling wise there is space for two big radiators (360mm) that can be mounted in the front and in the top. In addition there is enough space for mid-range tower coolers, which can measure up to 160mm in height.
The internal layout is overall quite simple and straightforward, you can install up to two HDDs or two SSDs. At the front of the case, there are two USB 3.0 ports as well as standard HD audio jacks, alongside power and reset switches.
So far Thermaltake has not yet revealed any details on pricing and availability regarding their View 22 case.
