AMD releases RSCRE 17.10.2 drivers

Support for three new games

It seems like we are spending more time updating drivers than playing new games lately. During the past month we have received three new AMD drivers and it's more or less the same with NVIDIA. AMD has just released its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.10.2 graphics driver software. This version should offer better support for Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed Origins and adds Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus optimisations too.

The most impressive optimisations is on Destiny II which can be up to 50% faster in some scenarios. Assassin’s Creed Origins gets a framerate improvements over multiple configurations. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus received a good optimisation as well since now can run up to 8% faster on AMD graphics card as well as on Vulkan. Furthermore this update has added a GPU workload toggle switch in "gaming" and "global settings".

This allows users to switch optimisations between graphics or compute workloads. This option is available on several graphics cards like: Radeon RX 500, Radeon RX 400, Radeon R9 390, Radeon R9 380, Radeon R9 290 and Radeon R9 285 GPUs. Last but not least Windows 10 Fall Creators Update gets full official support in this latest driver.

As always, you can download the latest AMD Crimson ReLive drivers over at AMD's support page.
