Sharknoon has announced the AM5 series of cases, which include two mid-tower with a very clean design. Both cases are almost identical, the only main difference is the side panels. While the windowed one comes with a big acrylic window, the silent one sports pre-installed damping mats.
The AM5 is a mid-tower chassis that's been made from steel and ABS plastic. The AM5 measures 452 x 210 x 465mm and classifies as a mid-tower. The top and the front faceplate share a simple design, while the left panel is available in two options. On the inside there is space for ATX, micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboards. Cooling wise there is space for one big radiator (280mm) that can be mounted in the front. In addition there is enough space for high-end tower coolers, which can measure up to 167mm in height.
The internal layout is overall simple and straightforward, you can install up to two HDDs or two SSDs. At the front of the case, there are two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports as well as standard HD audio jacks, alongside power and reset switches.
According to Sharknoon, the MSRP for this chassis is 69.90 Euro for the silent version and 59.90 Euro for the windowed version.
