Cooler Master announces MasterWatt power supplies

Affordable units

Already at CES 2017 Cooler Master has shown a new series of power supplies targeting budget PCs. With the MasterWatt series Cooler Master offers 80Plus Bronze certified units with wattages ranging from 450W to 750W. Since these units are made for users that are on a tight budget you will not find any advanced features such as RGB LEDs or fully modular cable management.

Following the launch of the MasterWatt Lite series, the company is now ready to release the MasterWatt series which includes four different models. There is a 450W, a 550W, a 650W and a 750W unit and they're all featuring semi-modular cable management. Apart from that those PSUs have been 80Plus Bronze certified offering up to 85 percent efficiency. All units measure 150 x 140 x 86 millimeters (L x D x H) and they've been equipped with a single 120mm fan.

In addition there is also the usual protection circuitry on board such as OCP, OVP, OPP, OTP and SCP protection. The MasterWatt series is expected to be become available within the next days. The suggested retail prices are 59,99 Euro, 69,99 Euro, 79,99 Euro, and 89,99 Euro for the 450W, 550W, 650W and 750W model respectively.
