Although MSI launched its line of Z370 based motherboards over a week ago, we are now getting the full details on its Z370 Pro series motherboards. Compared to the Gaming series, the Pro series should be more budget-oriented.
The lineup includes three models: the Z370 PC PRO, the Z370 SLI Plus and the Z370-A Pro. These new motherboards share the same form factor and several features. For example they are all compatible with up to 64GB of memory and, support SLI and CrossFire multi-GPU setups. In addition there are up to two M.2 slots (compatible with standard SSDs and Intel Optane Memory) and up to six SATA6 ports.
The Z370 PC PRO and the Z370 SLI Plus both feature MSI's Mystic Light RGB LED lighting, which can display a range of effects through the included Mystic Light software. In addition they are compatible with RGB LED strips, fans, coolers and PC cases. The Z370-A Pro motherboard only supports white LED functionality.
One of the major difference between all these motherboards can be found when looking at the video outputs: while on the Z370 SLI Plus there are both DVI-D and HDMI ports, the Z370-A Pro is equipped with a DisplayPort, DVI-D, and VGA outputs. The Z370 PC Pro comes with HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA ports.
