Due to the fact that small form factor products are becoming increasingly popular it makes perfect sense that power supply makers start adding additional SFX units to their portfolio. Be Quiet! has unveiled two SFX-L power supplies that are suitable for compact yet powerful gaming PCs.


The new Be Quiet! SFX-L Power series comes in two versions - 500W and 600W - featuring a fully-modular design with 80 Plus Gold certification. Both units measure 125 x 130 x 64 millimeters (L x D x H) and they’ve been equipped with a single 120mm SilentWings fan, which should provide a good airflow at low noise. The 500W as well as the 600W unit come with fully modular cable management. Especially in combination with small cases this makes the system building process easier.

Checking what’s included in the box we find four 6+2-pin PCIe cables, one 4+4-pin EPS cable, one 24-pin ATX cable, a total of six SATA connectors attached to two cables as well as two cables featuring three Molex connectors each. Additionally you’ll find an adapter bracket allowing you to also use this power supply in a case that only supports ATX PSUs.

The SFX-L Power series is already available and the MSRP for the 500W model is €109 Euro and in the case of the 600W it’s €129 Euro.
