Since Gamescom is taking place now in Cologne Germany, it was to be expected that one or the other publisher is going to announce new AAA titles. In this particular case Ubisoft jumped the gun revealing more information on their upcoming ANNO 1800.


As always ANNO 1800 is a city building game, which is now set in the industrial age. The goal is to build the largest city possible by planning it out meticulously and making sure those resources keep coming.

Although Ubisoft didn’t disclose any detailed information on neither the games mechanics nor the release date it’s fair enough to say at this point in time that the game is going to be released during the fourth quarter of this year. Apart from that ANNO 1800 is also supposed to feature a competitive mode.
