We’ve covered K|ngp|n breaking world records in the past and apparently the US American, living in Taiwan has done it again. This time he used one NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition card to set the bar in Fire Strike Extreme. The new world record mark is now above the 19K mark.



The system is exactly the same as last time and includes an EVGA X299 Micro motherboard, Intel's Core i7-7900X CPU pushed to 5.6 GHz with 32GB of G.Skill DDR4 memory set at 3722MHz and CL13 timings. In the graphics department we find one NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Kingpin Edition graphics card overclocked to a whopping 2632MHz. At this point we congratulate Vince “K|ngp|n” Lucido to this massive score. He really is the go-to-man when it comes to breaking 3D world records and he’s proving exactly this again, with this score.

A few weeks ago we have seen a few pictures of the graphics card however it’s still unclear when it will be available. Maybe he is still working on the BIOS of the card right before the official launch. The EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Edition should be an improved version of their iCX FTW3 module which can be found on several EVGA graphics cards. The card features a dual slot heatsink and a dense aluminum fin stack that has been combined with three fans. The entire cooler has been kept in black and there is a solid backplate presenting the EVGA logo and K|NGP|N's signature.

Since the Gamescom is just around the corner, we expect to see this card during next month.
