More than a year ago, during Computex 2016, Phanteks has first shown their upcoming water cooling products. During the past months, they’ve introduced a waterblock for NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition graphics card and today there are water blocks for the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Aorus and the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming. Both water blocks are compatible with the original backplate.

In the case of the base plate for the Glacier G1080 Ti water block, Phanteks is using nickel-plated copper. On top of that there is a cover made from acrylic glass with sandblasted sheet metal bezels. Furthermore Phanteks plans the availability of two different versions where one features a “mirrored chrome” and the other a “satin black” finish. The Glacier Series water blocks feature RGB LED lighting which is compatible with Gigabyte Fusion and MSI Mystic Light Sync. The two new full cover waterblocks are compatible with the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Aorus and the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming graphics cards.

At the moment there isn’t any additional information about price and availability. However, a few months ago Phanteks released a similar waterblock for the ASUS card and since that particular block cost €159,90, we expect to see a similar price tag in the case of these two new full cover water blocks.
