As we reported yesterday AMD is going to launch their first Vega based cards by the end of June for professional customers and the gaming are cards are to follow in the third quarter - hopefully. What’s not been covered so far is, that it looks like AMD is going to launch a water cooled version of their Vega cards for professionals.
According to renderings, that surfaced on Techpowerup, it looks like AMD is going to implement the same single radiator closed-loop cooler they’ve already been using with the Fury X cards. Apart from that the water cooled cards will also come with a color scheme that’s kept in gold while the logo and the Radeon writing feature blue backlight.
We’re curious to see whether AMD is going to clock the water cooled cards higher than the air cooled versions. But to find that out we have to wait until either leaks occur or the launch actually happens.
