We all know that AMD's mid-range Ryzen 5 CPU family is currently one of the best things you can buy if you’re on a tight budget. According to a news from 3DCenter, AMD's Ryzen 5 processors received some of the best user ratings since 2010.
The survey shows that 83,9% of the users are having a “positive” view on Ryzen 5, while 9,4% were "indifferent" and just 6,7% thought negatively about Ryzen 5. Comparing these results with older surveys conducted by 3DCenter, AMD’s Ryzen beat the second most warmly welcomed processor series, which was Intel’s Sandy Bridge, by a significant margin. With Sandy Bridge, Intel hit 75,9% of positive votes back in January 2011.
Looking for more recent processors from Intel, we see that Kaby Lake scored a pretty bad result. According to 3DCenter, the latest Intel series of CPUs gathered only 12% “positive” ratings, with the rest of the votes being pretty evenly split between “indifferent” or “negative” about the new Intel product range. AMD did a good job with the Ryzen 7 CPUs as well, scoring 74,6% “positive” votes from the readers.
