Acer has expanded its monitor lineup with another ultra wide model, featuring a 35-inch VA panel with 3440 x 1440 resolution. The grey-to-grey response time is set to 4ms and the refresh rate is up to 100Hz. Apart from that this monitor supports G-Sync.
As we already mentioned the Predator Z35P monitor has been equipped with a 35-inch panel and 3440 x 1440 Pixel resolution. There is one HDMI 2.0 connector and one DisplayPort 1.2 port. The display is based on a VA panel with 2500:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 brightness. Acer is marketing this display as a gaming monitor and it supports G-Sync. Compared to the Acer's 2560x1080 Z35, the new Z35P display offers a significantly higher resolution. The refresh rate is set to up to 100Hz but some early users have reported that the display supports also 120Hz in overclock mode.
On top of the specs there is a very well-built thin frame, which allows for pan, tilt, swivel and height adjustment. Furthermore it is compatible with VESA mounts making this display ideal for multi-monitor configurations if required. The new Acer Predator Z35P should be available soon for a price of $1099.99 US.
