Zotac has shown two new graphics cards, which are based on the new flagship - GP102 - chip from NVIDIA. Right after the announcements of the AMP series, Zotac unveiled two more graphics cards, which go by the names Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti PGF series. Both models feature a custom design, a custom heatsink and a factory OC.
The custom cooler is supposed to deliver good cooling performance. The heatsink comes with a dense aluminum fin stack and several heatpipes. The metal shroud has been painted black and on the flipside there is a good looking backplate with LEDs. Furthermore both models come with a triple-fan cooler which could be an improved version of Zotac’s IceStorm model that you can find on the AMP! Edition.
According to the official descriptions the two cards feature a different TDP; while the less overclocked has 280W TDP, the higher overclocked model is rated at 320W. Checking the specifications we see that the GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition works at 1480MHz/1582MHz Core/Boost frequencies, while the higher overclocked PGF model comes with a decent factory overclock running at 1620MHz/1733MHz Core/Boost frequencies. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti PGF, which is rated at 280W TDP, also comes with a factory overclock but the the clock speeds have “only” been bumped to 1569MHz/1683MHz Core/Boost frequencies.
So far Zotac has not revealed any details on pricing and availability, however both cards could be available only in Asia.
