PowerColor's RX 580 Red Devil and Red Devil Golden Sample GPUs have been pictured and both new cards feature a custom design with a beefy cooler. While the RX 580 Red Devil Golden Sample comes with 2.5 slot cooler, and RX 580 Red Devil should fit into two slots.


The RX 500 series from PowerColor is more than just a Polaris Refresh with improved clock speeds. There is also a larger cooler and a more capable power design. Both cards come with a heatsink that features a dense aluminum fin stack and several heatpipes. The metal shroud has been painted black and red and on the flipside there is a backplate. Furthermore there are two fans, which are supposed to provide enough air. While the Red Devil Golden Sample comes with a 2.5 slots cooler, the Red Devil requires 2 slots.

At the moment the clock speeds of these GPUs are unknown but additional images for the Red Devil Golden sample are available on Baidu. According to the pictures, the card the GPU, the memory as well as the VRMs receive direct cooling. Regarding connectors we find the usual three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, one HDMI 2.0b and one dual-link DVI port.
