A few weeks ago, MSI was teasing its Gaming X version of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards. With the new series, MSI offers three different custom air cooled GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards, a Sea Hawk model with a preinstalled Corsair CLC all-in-one water cooler, and a Sea Hawk EK card with an water cooler from EK Water Blocks.
So far MSI didn't provide information on pricing or availability and furthermore there is also no information the specifications of these five new custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards. As we said before, three of five models come with an air cooler and two cards are for water cooling. The Aero 11G OC has a single-fan, blower-style cooler that is similar to the one that can be found on the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition. The Armor version comes with a black and white cooler and two MSI Torx fans.
The Gaming X 11G is the flagship model and offers the sixth iteration of the highly capable Twin Frozr VI cooler, which apparently features customizable RGB LED lighting. This card also packs two 8-pin PCIe power connectors that could help in the case of overclocking.
On the water cooling side we there is a Sea Hawk and a Sea Hawk EK version. While the Sea Hawk comes with Corsair's Hydro AiO, the Sea Hawk EK features a custom liquid cooler from EK Water Blocks. So far there is no information on clock speeds available, which is a bit a pity. Nevertheless we’re sure it won’t take long until we know this as well and on top of that it can’t take very long until we know how much all these cards are going to cost.
