EK Water Blocks have shown their upcoming MSI Z270 monoblocks that will add water cooling to both the CPU and the VRM, thanks to a huge single water block. The EK-FB MSI Z270 GAMING Monoblock RGB is compatible with MSI Mystic Light Sync, which will allow you to create very nice setups thanks to customizable lighting.
This particular monoblock simply looks great, and the fact that there is only one inlet and one outlet for coolant helps keeping your loop clean. If you were to cool your setup with a separate block for the CPU and the VRM that would mean you’d have twice the number of connectors and more tubes ending in a less clean build. The base of the monoblock is made from nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is available in acrylic glass material.
The monoblock is equipped with a 4-pin RGB LED strip that can be connected to the motherboard’s 4-pin LED header or it can be connected to any other 4-pin LED controller. The LED strip cover can easily allowing you to adjust the cable or change it with a custom LED strip. This new monoblock is designed in cooperation with MSI and features the EK-Supremacy EVO water block, sitting on top of the CPU.
Unlike what we have seen so far, the new EK-FB MSI Z270 Monoblock RGB is compatible with several MSI motherboards. According to EKWB this new monoblock is compatible with the following boards: MSI Z270 Gaming Pro, MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon, MSI Z270 Krait Gaming, MSI Z270 SLI, MSI Z270 SLI Plus, MSI Z270 Tomahawk and MSI Z270 Tomahawk Arctic motherboards.
The price of the EK-FB MSI Z270 Monoblock RGB is set to 119.95€ and it should already be available via the EK Webshop and also at the official reselling partners.
