A few months ago, during CES 2017, ASRock has shown their first batch of socket AM4 motherboards for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen processors and Bristol Ridge APUs. During their latest Webinar session, ASRock has shown five X370 motherboards and today we have some more information on the X370 Taichi.
The X370 Taichi features a black PCB with covers made from white metal. Although at the moment we haven't many details about this model, the X370 Taichi might be a more budget-oriented model, which comes with a similar feature set like the Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming motherboard, which we have shown yesterday.
Having a more detailed look at the board we see three PCIe Gen 3.0 slots with steel reinforcements and two PCIe slots. Between the first and the second full-sized PCIe slot there are two slots distance providing plenty of space for graphics cards to breathe in the case of multi-GPU setups. On the storage side we see two M.2 slots and there are ten SATA ports. Compared to the Fatal1ty X370 series, we find a different color scheme which is kept in black and white.
Apart from that ASRock will offer the same features that can be be found on the vendor’s Z270 based boards. For example we find a Purity Sound 4 audio solution, a debug LED, USB 3.1 and RGB headers.
