Presenting Monore by AugustL

A new sponsored modding project

Today we’re going to have a close look at another very promising looking build from AugustL. AugustL is a member of our community and in the past he’s created a few really nice looking mods. This time he’s working on a Jonsbo UMX3 case and although the mod hasn’t been finished yet, there are already a few really nice pictures and details available.

AugustL’s new modding project has been posted on our forums and what can be seen as of now looks really beautiful and impressive. Project “Monore” is based on a clean and sleek Jonsbo UMX3 case which we reviewed a few months ago. With the UMX3 Jonsbo introduced yet another UMX case, which is compatible with mATX motherboard. The UMX3 is made from aluminum and there is space for an ATX PSU as well as high-end graphics cards. Apart from that this case is available in black or silver and with or without a side window made from smoke acrylic glass.

On the inside we find a Skylake based setup, with an Intel Core i7-6700K CPU sitting on a Gigabyte Z170M-D3H motherboard. Apart from that there is great looking Hyperx Predator memory and one NVIDIA GTX 980Ti graphics card is in charge of delivering decent gaming performance. Last but not least we find a Seasonic Snow Silent 1050W power supply. Since AugustL usually creates very clean systems with extensive water cooling loops, it's no surprise that this rig falls into the same category.

In the case of Monore, AugustL is going to rework the entire internal layout, cutting up the case and converting it into a reverse-ATX configuration. Furthermore he is going to create a new top panel and fan grills for all the Noctua fans. Monore is still far from being finished and apparently we’re looking forward to see some new updates on this build. You can check out some of the pictures below while all the other pics can be found in our forums via the link below.
