be quiet! has shown a new series of power supplies targeting gaming PCs. With the Power 10 series be quiet! offers 80Plus Silver and Bronze certified units with wattages ranging from 400W to 700W. The ten new models include semi-modular units ranging from 400W to 700W and non-modular PSUs ranging from 300W to 700W.
As we already mentioned there are no less than ten different models and the line-up is divided into semi-modular and non-modular models. In the case of the non-modular models you can get a 300W, a 350W, a 400W, a 500W, a 600W and a 700W unit. Having a look at the semi-modular units there is a 400W, a 500W, a 600W and a 700W model. All the units feature a DC-to-DC design and they’ve been equipped with a single 120mm fan. Apparently there is the usual protection circuitry on board. Therefore you find OCP, OVP, OPP, OTP and SCP protection.
The Pure Power 10 series should already be available in retail channels. In the case of the semi-modular Pure Power 10 models the 400W, 500W, 600W and 700W cost between 72 and 115 Euro, $72 and $115 US as well as £59.50 and £95 (MSRP). The non-modular Pure Power 10 power supplies coming in 300W, 350W, 400W, 500W, 600W and 700W flavor and are priced between 50 and 105 Euro, $50 and $105 US as well as £42.50 and £85 (MSRP).
