To celebrate their 10th anniversary in power supply business and more than 10 million units sold, Corsair has come up with a special Edition of their RM1000i power supply. The unit is kept completely in white and therefore has pretty unique looks.


With the RM1000i Special Edition Corsair now also has a power supply with white shroud in its portfolio and on top of that the LED fan used comes with white lighting. It looks like the vendor is answering to the trend that more and more white products have been released.


Featuring a fully-modular design with sleeved cables, the RM1000i Special Edition received 80 Plus Gold certification and is based on high-end Japanese capacitors to adhere to high quality standards. This special edition is limited to 100 units, while only being available on the Corsair Store for $199.99. Underlining the high quality Corsair is offering those units including 10 year warranty.


Alongside the launch of the RM1000i Special Edition power supply Corsair also introduced new sleeved cable sets, which are compatible to the RMi, the RMx and the SF series. Made from three layers of paracord, those sleeved cables are very flexible and therefore allow for comfortable cable management. Apart from that the so called “Premium PSU Cables” feature in-line capacitors in the case of the 24-pin ATX, the 8-pin EPS and the PCIe cables.
